KIM CHAPIN

As the daughter of Dave & Brenda Roever, Kim grew up traveling with her family from the time she was 2 weeks old. Her early years were filled with new people and new places as her father shared his life story from tragedy to triumph across the nation and the world. He survived a devastating injury in Viet Nam, was in the hospital for eighteen months at Brook Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas as he recovered, and has had over 63 surgeries overall.  It is undeniable that her father is an advocate for resiliency and hope! Her parents stood beside each other the entire journey from his injury and recovery! They built a life committed to loving each other and loving others who have walked the hard road of recovery.

 

Kim has been married to her wonderful husband of 30 years, Phil Chapin, who is an amazing father and Captain with Pueblo City Fire Department. They love living in Colorado and are following in the footsteps of her parents as they reach out to First Responders and First Responder Couples across the nation at Eagles Summit Ranch located in Westcliffe, Colorado!
